The "Jig" Assembly Method

Assembling DigiFolders will go much quicker and be more accurate when you use the DigiFolder assembly jig. It gives the assembler straight edges to align the pocket and sheet and the dark surface gives excellent contrast to visually check that alignment is accurate. The jig is built to last and will pay for itself in no time by speeding up the assembly process. Order one today!

Using the DigiFolders Assembly Jig

Once you have imaged the 12”x 18” sheet, place it front side down in the JIG with the top of the folder nearest towards you.

Starting with the right-hand pocket, bend back and fold both tape strips at about a 90° angle as shown.

Using the JIG's dowels, align the pocket to the bottom edge of the folder starting at the center. Be careful not to allow the exposed tape to come in contact with the folder until you are sure the position is correct!

Watch the outer edge of the pocket as you begin to bring it down to the 12"x18" sheet. Adjust left to right if necessary and when aligned, press the outer edge onto the sheet.
While holding the pocket in place, pull the bottom tape liner out from under the pocket. Then pull the upper tape liner away and lightly "swipe" the pocket to adhere it into place.

Repeat this process for the opposite pocket.
